Michael Robinson Spear

Mike was born on October 9, 1939, to T.J. and Louise Spear in Oklahoma City. He passed away on February 21, 2026. Mike graduated from NW Classen in 1957 and went on to OU where he graduated with a BS in Engineering. He served in the Corps. of Engineers in Washington DC, after which he got his MS in Engineering at OSU. He started his career at the Oklahoma State Department of Health and then went on to own and operate an engineering company until his retirement. Mike married the love of his life, Ginger, in 1996.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom. Survivors include his wife Ginger, sister Pat Hotaling (Alan), children Laura Pons (Anthony), Sarah Tombone (John), T.C. Spear (Michelle), Ginger's children Lia Kaupp, Laura Jensen (Greg) and many beloved grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Donations may be given to the Western Foundation, 5702 N Western, OKC 73118. Memorial service will be held at Smith Kernke Funeral Home 14624 N. May Ave. Oklahoma City, OK on February 28 at 2PM.
