I couldn't attended services yesterday because I just got out of the hospital from major surgery. I want you to know I thought the world of Debbie. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone or to any one. She will truly be missed. It had been awhile since I had last seen her due to illness but I will never forget the kindness and the love she always showed toward me.
To the family all I can say is I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Chris, I don't know if you remember me or not but my husband Mike and I worked with you and your Mama at MEMC. And you went to school with my son, Joey Johnson. I just read about your Mom's death in the paper and I know the funeral will be in a few minutes as I'm writing this. I am so sorry for you and your sister. I don't know your sister well but I saw her at football games alot. Please know you're in mine and Mike's prayers. Let us know if we can do anything. And I mean that. Again, I'm so sorry.
