DEBORAH L. HASHEIDER

Mrs. Deborah Hasheider of St. Charles, MO, departed this life at her residence on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 3:23 A.M. following a courageous battle against cancer. She had attained the age of 73 years and 25 days.

Deborah was born in St. Louis on December 16, 1952, the daughter of James and Mildred (nee Lopez) Sneed. She was a 1971 graduate of Normandy Sr High School. Deborah was united in marriage to Mark Hasheider in Normandy, MO on October 2, 1971, and he survives her passing.

Deborah was raised in the Catholic faith. In 1975, she joined the Lutheran faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, MO, where she and her husband Mark lived. At the time of her passing, she was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mrs. Hasheider worked as an analyst at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau until her retirement in 2018.

Deborah was known for many things, her sense of humor being one. She loved to laugh and if you could make her laugh, you held a special place in her heart. Even during her illness, she would try to use humor to comfort her family. Deborah was also known for her creativity and generosity. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and was a talented painter. She loved antiquing and finding hidden treasures which she would refinish and repurpose, often gifting them to her loved ones. Deborah also found great joy in gardening. What she valued most was the time she shared with her family and making memories with them.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband Mark of St. Charles, MO; four sons, Brian Hasheider and wife Tiffany of Norfolk, VA, Craig Hasheider and wife Nell of O'Fallon, MO, Aaron Hasheider and wife Tammy of St. Charles, and Zachary Hasheider and wife Elizabeth of Richmond Hill, GA; nine grandchildren, Ian and Bradley Hasheider, Audrey, Graham, and June Hasheider, Abigail Hasheider, and Isabel, Elliot, and Benjamin Hasheider; two sisters, Jackie Vincent of Maryland Heights, MO and Dorothy Brandon of St. Charles; nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Bailey and a brother, James Sneed Jr.

Funeral services will be held from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Okawville, IL on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11 A.M. with Pastor Eric Wood officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Okawville on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Washington County Relay For Life and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.

Deb, you will always be in my memories. We had so many good memories together and some bad, but mostly good. I'm grateful that I had you for a sister but most of all I'm grateful that I had you as a friend. Love you forever and ever. Jackie

I remember our canoe trip with her parents and family with sisters Jackie (my sister in law) and Karen, Dottie and brother Jacob. We almost drowned but she was laughing. You will be missed. You are with God and your family.
