It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that the family of Deborah Jean (Robichaud) Haskell announce her unexpected passing on January 10, 2025.
Born on May 14, 1957, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 49 years Edward W. Haskell III; her cherished daughters Amie Daubmann (Keith) of Fort Myers, FL and Kari Sagan (Adam) of Agawam and was the beloved Nana to Kassandra Sagan (Butterfly), and Brooke (Sweetie Bird) and Riley Daubmann (Moose).
She also leaves behind her sister Lynda Maher and her best friend Shirley Harris, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, a great great-niece and longtime friends that have become extended family.
Deb retired from Verizon in October 2023, after 37 years of loyal service where she rarely missed a day of work, continually achieving perfect attendance. Debbie enjoyed crocheting, and going to the beach, especially in Florida with her family.
Debber's family was her greatest pride and joy and she basked in the role as a wife, mother, friend and most importantly as a Nana.
How does one put into words a summary of a person who was the embodiment of all that is good and pure. Debbie was a woman with a big heart and a lot of love to go around and she was so willing to share it with everyone she met and took under her wing.
Anyone who met her, loved her. She just made it easy.
Deborah was predeceased by her sister Sandi Boucher (2003) with whom she shared the special bond of not only sister's but best friends, brother Louis (Skip) Robichaud (2004), brother-in-law Leo Boucher Sr. (2005), her grandmother (Gram) Margaret Butler (2016) who she took care of for over 20 years, and sister-in-law Patricia Stronczek (2019).
Debbie was also predeceased by her in-laws Edward W Haskell II (1991) and Dorothy Haskell who lived with Deb and Ed until her passing in 2006.
Amie and Kari (or as our Momma would say, Muffin and Pokey) would especially like to thank Dad's best friends for showing up for him and ALL our family and friends for your outpouring of love and support. It means the world to us all!
The family will host a visitation on Saturday January 18th from 11am-1pm followed by a service at 1pm at Colonial Forastiere 985 Main St, Agawam MA.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
Please come in casual attire, Mom wouldn't want it any other way.
