Deborah Jaqueline Petroff Hatfield, age 74, born September 09, 1950, of Scott Depot, West Virginia passed away on December 05, 2024 in Huntington, West Virginia.
Born in Rossmore, West Virginia, and formerly of Logan, Deborah was a retired Certified Professional Coder and was an active member of the Winfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Always prepared and enthusiastic, Deborah never hesitated to share her unwavering faith in God and His promise of everlasting life in Paradise. Her presence left a lasting impact on the lives of all whom she encountered.
She was a gifted and passionate seamstress who loved to inspire others by sharing her extensive knowledge of knitting and sewing. She also loved gardening, spending hours sitting in her yard planting various flowers, hand-pulling weeds, and chatting with the animals and neighbors that passed by.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Jack Petroff; her mother, Dolly E. Petroff; three brothers, Jack Petroff Jr., Patrick G. Petroff, and Michael J. Petroff; and one grandson, Gabriel P. Hatfield.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph Petroff of Chapmanville, WV; three sons, Geoffrey E. Hatfield of Scott Depot, WV, Philip R. Hatfield of Scott Depot, WV, and Kevin A. Hatfield of Charleston, WV; and 5 grandchildren, Kai, Nollie, Jin, Saya and Nico.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 29th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 13005 Winfield Rd, Winfield, WV 25213. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
Please contact Joe Bentley at [email protected] or Ed Hicks at [email protected] for attending virtually or to listen to the service.
