Deborah Dee Helms

Debra Dee Helms, beloved wife, mother, NayNay, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on April 25, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born Debra Dee Andrusko, on December 23, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Lillian (Sandie) and James Andrusko.
After graduating from South Senior High School in 1973, Deb set off for Minot, ND, where she attended Northwest Bible College. There she was a cheerleader and formed lasting friendships. During her time there, she met her husband, Edward Reed. Together, they had three children. During their marriage they lived in North Dakota, Minnesota and Pennsylvania. Deb enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting, and was always keeping up with Fashion. She loved her fur babies, Royal and Leo. She had a passion for life and helping people. She enjoyed traveling and going on road trips with her sister. She was an active member of Calvary Worship Center Church of God, St Paul, MN.
Debra will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her
She is survived by her husband, Jason Helms of Eagan, MN, her son David Nathaniel Reed and wife Jennifer of Camp Hill, PA, and daughters Ericalyn Dawnette Wise and husband Oliver of Carrollton, Virginia, Erin Laurie Reed and husband Kevin Murray of St Michael, MN. Siblings Linda Gwin and husband Myron of Big Spring TX, Steven Andrusko and wife Terry of Sartell, MN and James Andrusko and wife Rhonda of Winsted, MN. Brother-in-Law Richard Brue, Minneapolis, MN, Grandchildren Bailee Reed, Tara Reed, Aiden Reed and Peyton Reed of Camp Hill, PA, Lillian Reed of St Michael, MN, Emarie Kusler and Jensen Kusler of Minneapolis, MN. Her many beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, dear extended family, and many cherished friends, including one special lifelong friend and husband, Debbie Dabbs and husband Rev Robert Dabbs.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Reed, parents, James and Lillian Andrusko, sister Marcia Brue, brother Michael Ray Andrusko.
Please join her family in celebrating her life on Tuesday April 29th, 2025, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a service and reception at Summit Funeral and Cremation, 6415 Carmen Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076.
