Mrs. Deborah Faith (Mooring) Howard of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born July 13, 1955, in Millington, Tennessee, the daughter of Thomas G. and Margie Arlene (Uselton) Mooring.

Mrs. Howard was a 1973 graduate of Rivercrest High School and later went on to attend Arkansas State University. On July 24, 1982, she married Mr. Steven G. Howard, and together they have spent forty-three wonderful years together. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Howard dedicated her career to Regions Bank, where she worked for thirty-five years as a Financial Services Representative, and proudly retired after thirty-five years of service.

Mrs. Howard enjoyed cooking, gardening, and tending to her flower beds. She also loved decorating her home for the holidays. Mrs. Howard was a lover of all animals and faithfully supported the Jackson County Humane Society. Mrs. Howard's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Howard, of the home; her son, David Judd Cissell and wife, Angie, of Newport; her daughter, Jessica D. Cissell and John Stockert, of Jonesboro; her step-children, Jeremy B. Howard and wife, Amy, of Greencastle, Indiana, Christopher W. Howard and wife, Liz, of Mahomet, Illinois, and Adrienne C. Bundy of Riverview, Florida; eight grandchildren, David M. Cissell, Madeline E. Bundy, Jack C. Howard, Mason J. Howard, Elaine A. Howard, Mallory T. Bundy, Cora A. Howard, and Alison M. Howard; and her sister, Cynthia C. Biddle and husband, Howard, of Bay.

A visitation for Mrs. Howard will be held on Saturday evening, September 20, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jackson's Funeral Home.
