Mrs. Deborah Huey, age 65, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Funeral services for Mrs. Huey will be conducted on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Kenton Church of Christ with Jon Gardner officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton, Tennessee.
She was born September 3, 1959, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the daughter of Marvin Ramey and late Shirley Mallard Ramey. She retired from the USDA where she worked in the ASCS office. She was a member of the Kenton Church of Christ.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Daniel Huey; her daughter, Mandy Dawkins (B.J.); her son, Zachary Huey; two grandchildren, Logan Dawkins and Camden Dawkins; her father, Marvin Ramey; two brothers, James Ramey (Teressa) and Chris Ramey (Cindy); six nieces April Brewer (Heath), Rachel Lee (Quinton), Amber Ramey (Allen), Crystal Huey, Samantha Bryant (Michael), and Felicia Eddlemon (Austin); sister-in-law, Phyllis Huey; brother-in-law, Amos Huey (Vicki); and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ramey.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Kenton Church of Christ. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Deborah Elizabeth Ramey Huey.
