Deborah A. King, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the Arlington Point Care Center after a brief illness. Born in Middletown, Ohio, on June 7, 1951, Deborah lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a genuine connection with everyone she met.
Deborah graduated from Franklin High School in 1969, marking the beginning of a journey that would see her dedicate many years of service in her community. She shared her talents and friendly spirit through various roles, serving at Ryan's Steakhouse and MCL working at K-Mart. Her ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers alike.
A woman of vibrant personality, Debbie was known for being very friendly; she never knew a stranger and was always eager to engage in conversation. This warmth extended into her family life as well. As a devoted mother, she cherished her time with her children, and took immense joy in babysitting her grandchildren: Caitlyn Allen-King, Gabriel King, Roy King III, Todd King, and Tyler King. Debbie delighted in being a loving great-grandmother to Zoe, Jackson, and Stella, forming bonds that brought her great happiness.
In addition to her role as a nurturing matriarch, Debbie had a passion for music, particularly the timeless tunes of the Beatles, which filled her heart with joy. She also possessed artistic talents, displaying a knack for painting ceramics that showcased her creative spirit.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Katrina King, stepsons Jeff (Terri) King and Roy, Jr. (Teresa) King. She is also remembered by her sisters Dynita Boehringer and Diana Peck, and her brother Doug Peck. Her cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.
