Deborah Kathleen Klimaszewski

Deborah Kathleen Newland Klimaszewski, 69, of Triadelphia, WV, died Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born October 28, 1956 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Cecil and Barbara Moore Newland.

Debbie was a CNA and retired from Wheeling Hospital medical records department after 25 years. She was an avid craft maker and lifelong camper at Seneca Lake. She loved gift giving and making others feel welcomed and appreciated. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Klimaszewski, Sr.; and a sister, Cecilia Newland.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Ann Klimaszewski (Derrick) Iverson and Frank E. (Amanda Murphy) Klimaszewski, Jr.; grandchildren, Dakota Blanchard, Emma Iverson, Haley Klimaszewski and Dillion (Madison) Klimaszewski; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Donald Newland, Darrell Newland and Daphne (Chuck) Huffman; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM and again Monday, March 16, 2026 from 10 until the time of service at 11 AM with Rev. Debra Dague officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).

Interment to follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, WV.
