Deborah A Lodi

Deborah A. (Wingate) Lodi, of Wilbraham, passed away on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Deborah was born in Springfield on October 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Robert and Jacqueline (Trainor) Wingate. Deborah was a proud 1963 graduate of Sacred Heart High School and maintained many dear friendships for years to come. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Springfield College and utilized her education in Volunteer Positions such as Decisional Training. Deborah was known for her strong work ethic and was employed in several positions throughout the years, contributing in all settings she was a part of. Deborah was a devoted member of Holy Cross Parish in Springfield and enthusiastically participated in Parish life and relationships. Deborah loved spending time with her family and friends, relaxing at the pool in the summer and keeping "sharp" with all her puzzle games. And for all who knew her Deborah was passionate about her Democrats. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother Robert Wingate. Deborah is survived by her beloved husband William J. Lodi of Wilbraham, her three devoted children Pamela Gentile and her husband Joseph of Wilbraham, Robert Lodi and his wife Donna of Springfield and William Lodi and his wife Renee Lodi of Enfield, CT., and she leaves her two adored grandchildren Abbey Gentile and Joey Gentile both of Wilbraham. The Lodi family would like to thank all the staff at the Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care for all their compassion and care given to Deborah during her illness. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10am - 11am at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.
