Deborah M. Long

With deep sadness yet incredible memories of her amazing life we announce the passing of Deborah M. Long on August 21st, 2025. She was born March 31st, 1950, in Martinez, CA to Vic and Jean Remorini. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years; Todd J. Long, their two sons Branon Long (Nicole) and Brody Long (Veronica) as well as her four adoring grandchildren Kylie (19), Landon (19), Tyson (18) and Tegan (16) as well as her brother Victor Remorini Jr.
A devout Catholic who attended St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Martinez, Alhambra High School Class of 1968, and completed her education at Diablo Valley College.
Deborah first met Todd while working for former west coast airline PSA, then pursued several long term Office Management roles in both dentistry and construction.
Deborah will be remembered for her incredibly kind and thoughtful spirit. Never forgetting a birthday, sending a handwritten note or simply reaching out to say hello to the friends and family she truly loved. Her incredible energy was endlessly shared with her beloved community volunteering with various groups and organizations like Shell Western States FCU, Martinez Bocce Federation, Ushering at Christ the King Church, Martinez Unified School District and countless more.
While her community benefitted greatly from her acts of kindness it was undoubtedly her family that was her ultimate passion. Loving daughter, loyal wife, amazing mother and the world's best "Grammy". Words cannot describe the love she showered her family with. Even in the darkest of moments or the most challenging of situations; Grammy would always make things better.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 6th, at 11:00AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1101 Keaveny Ct. Walnut Creek, CA 94597. Immediately following the mass, a celebration of life will be hosted at Zio Fraedo's, 611 Gregory Ln, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
