Deborah Falgout Mayeur

Deborah Falgout Mayeur, 70, a native and lifelong resident of Larose, LA, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Ochsner Medical Center, Kenner, LA.

She is a graduate of South Lafourche High School. She worked at Ochsner St. Anne Hospital and the Super 5 & 10 for numerous years.

She is survived by her sons, Jerome Mayeur, Jr. and Joshua Mayeur, the children of Jerome Mayeur, Sr.; sister-in-law, Rhonda Gerrets Falgout, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her father Lloyd J. Falgout Sr.; mother, Madeline Matherne Falgout; brother Lloyd “L.J.” Falgout, Jr. and aunt, Earline Matherne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to especially thank all the countless neighbors, family members, and friends for all of their help throughout the many years. She especially enjoyed her visits during the years with Fr. Alberto Santiago and Fr. Rholly Grecia.
