Eloise Kelly Mayeur

Eloise Kelly Mayeur passed away Sunday, May 4 2025 surrounded by her family. Eloise Kelly Mayeur was born January 18, 1928, she was 97 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Mayeur Sr. her son Russell A. Mayeur, Jr., her parents, Thomas Joseph Kelly Sr. and Helen Lambert Kelly, brother Thomas Joseph Kelly Jr. her grandson Russell A Mayeur lll. Survived by her children, Ellen Mayeur McCubbin (deceased Terry), Eloise Mayeur Carboni (Lou), Kelly Mayeur Feraud (Darryl), Kerry Edward Mayeur ( Heather). Eloise was the loving Grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 19 and great-great-grandmother of 6. She attended St. Mary the Angels Grammar School and Immaculate Conception High School. She was co-owner of Russell A. Mayeur & Sons Sheet Metal and Roofing. Eloise was a dedicated volunteer throughout her life and enjoyed being a part of the Ladies Auxiliary of the National Guard, the Krewe of Pegasus Krewe of Caesar, Den mother, Girl Scout leader, substitute librarian at Annunciation Grammar School, and Room mother. She was also a talented seamstress, enjoyed crocheting, and making her yearly Christmas clothespin ornaments for family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Friday, May 9, 2025, visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 AM with a Mass starting at 1100 AM. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Funeral Home after the burial.
