Dolores Menard Centanni

On November 14, 2025, Almighty God Himself bid His faithful daughter, Dolores M. Centanni, 97, come into His divine presence, an invitation she humbly accepted upon receiving a "golden ticket" to ascend directly to her heavenly mansion.

Dolores was born on March 28, 1928, in New Orleans, LA. Beloved daughter of the late Wilson J. and Ursula Z. Menard, sister of the late Claire Morvant and the late Raymond Menard, mother of the late Dolores Centanni, and former spouse of the late Samuel P. Centanni. She is survived by the loves of her life, her dear children, Darlene, Ronald, and René Centanni, and several nieces and nephews.

Dolores was an employee of the Orleans Parish School Board for nearly thirty-eight years. After retiring, she enjoyed ballroom dancing, watching the Saints, reading, meeting all her friends at the casinos, but most of all, spending time with her cherished family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 11:00 am, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a Mass at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
