Maria N. Centanni

Maria Centanni passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Centanni and a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Concetta and her husband Victor, and her son Luciano. Maria is now reunited in eternal peace with her cherished late husband and her daughter, Mirella, whose memory she kept close to her heart always.
She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Nicole, Amanda, Sara, Gabriella, Victor, Luciano Jr., and Sophia, along with her 4 great grandchildren each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Maria's love language was food. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she lovingly cooked, shared meals, and brought family and friends together. Through her cooking, she expressed her generosity, warmth, and deep devotion to those she loved.
A devoted Catholic, Maria lived her life guided by strong faith, which she faithfully passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her spirituality, kindness, and quiet strength were constants throughout her life.
Maria also had an incredible green thumb and found great joy in planting and gardening, nurturing everything she touched with patience and care. She deeply loved her community of Astoria and the Orsogna Club and its members.
Maria Centanni will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her deep faith, her generosity of spirit, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she created, the values she instilled, and the countless memories shared around her table.
