Deborah Ann McCarty, age 69, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 29, 1956, to the late Wilfred and Twyla (Huffman) Tull.
A proud graduate of Marysville High School, Debbie went on to work at Goodyear, where she held various positions-from the assembly line to custodial work. Following her retirement, she enjoyed staying active by working at Donatos.
Debbie was deeply devoted to her family and never missed an opportunity to share her pride in them. She especially cherished family vacations, including memorable trips to the Outer Banks (OBX) and Panama City Beach, Florida. One of her favorite memories was experiencing the Wild Horse Tour on the beaches of OBX.
Those who knew Debbie will remember her as ornery, fun-loving, and the life of any room. Her sense of humor was contagious, and she always made those around her laugh. When asked how she was doing, she would often respond with her signature phrase: "Fat and sassy as always"-a saying her family will dearly miss.
Debbie is survived by her loving daughter, Stella McCarty; grandchildren, Kaydence Wright and Hazel Engle; great-granddaughter, Alora House; and her brother, Alfred Tull. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Kris Tull, Kerrie (Brian) Schweinfurth, Chad Mackey, Jamie (Kodie) Mackey, Keaton Schweinfurth, Kallie Schweinfurth, A.J. Mackey, Camryn Mackey, Noah Mackey, and Faith Mackey. Debbie will also be missed by her dear friends, Brian Landon, Robin Allen, and Nan Bowshier. Lastly, she will be deeply missed by the animals that she holds dear to her heart, Rosie, Willow and Cleo.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Mackey.
Ingram & Snyder is honored to serve Debbie's family during this time. Condolences may be shared at www.ingramfuneralservice.com.
