Mrs. Deborah Darlene Meeks, age 68 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service for Mrs. Meeks will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11AM at new Salem Baptist Church in Mason Hall. Visitation with the family will be held from 10AM until service time at 11AM.
Deborah was born on August 30, 1957, in Humboldt, TN; the daughter of the late David Eugene & Dorothy Jean Adams Graves. She was a homemaker, and a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Mason Hall.
Mrs. Meeks is survived by her loving husband, Roger Meeks; daughter, Angie O’Neal (Mark); sister, Deloras Dawson; two grandchildren, Madison O’Neal, Abby O’Neal; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Larry & Wanda Belew; and nieces & nephew, Michael Dawson (Ashlee), Katie Strain (Bruce), and Deleah Dawson-Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; father & mother-in-law, H.S. & Earlene Meeks; brother, Darryl Graves; and brother-in-law, Steve Dawson.
