Deborah Miles Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.
Deborah Sue Miles, age 70, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2026.

Deborah was born on September 14, 1955, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to Rodney Dale Wilson and Frances Joan Wilson. She grew up with a lively spirit and a warm personality that remained a defining part of her throughout her life.

Deborah worked for many years as an administrative assistant, where she was known for her dedication, organization, and friendly presence. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Deborah also enjoyed traveling and going to new places, always appreciating the opportunity to see and experience something different.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else.
Deborah is survived by her mother, Frances Joan Wilson; her four brothers, Steve Wilson, Shawn Wilson, Pat Wilson, and Tim Wilson; her two children, Angelia D. Broughton and spouse Tug, and Laban M. Miles and spouse Nikki. She was a proud grandmother to Laban Miles, Gavin Miles, Tanaya Roberts, Dilon Broughton, Chloe Broughton, Landon Broughton, Ayden Broughton, Zach Quinton, Nathan Burgan, Peyton Buckles, and Alexiss Buckles.
She was also a loving great-grandmother to Reba Roberts, Rowdy Roberts, Beyer Quinton, Bobby Quinton, Beaumont Quinton, and Charles Burgan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Dale Wilson; her sister, Beth Ann Wilson; and her nephew, Joshua Wilson.

Deborah will be remembered for her laughter, her love for family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 10:00AM, at the Pawhuska Methodist Church. Pastor Reece Player will officiate. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
- John 14:2–3
