Deborah Kay Mills, born on November 14, 1954, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Born in Austin and a life-time resident of Central Texas, Deborah's life touched many and her absence will be keenly felt by all who knew her.
Deborah was predeceased by her loving parents, Dan and Lily Womack, as well as her brother, Danny Womack, and her sister, Phyllis Ormand. She also mourned the loss of her step-daughter, Alicia Mills. Despite these losses, Deborah found joy and purpose in her relationships that flourished throughout her life.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Christina Mills, who will cherish the memories they created together. Deborah also left behind her step-grandchildren, Rowen Buckley and Hunter Vaughn, both of whom brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, and cousins, each carrying a piece of her spirit in their hearts.
Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Monday, October 7th from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM and will Honor Deborah's Memory at 1:00 PM with Pastor Stan Mills presiding. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery of Austin. Deborah Kay Mills will be remembered as a cherished individual, and her contributions to those around her will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
