Deborah O'Shea Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Solimine Funeral Homes - Broadway on Mar. 26, 2026.
Deborah O'Shea passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Deborah was raised in Bourne, Massachusetts alongside her sisters, Christine and Sherry. She attended Saint Michael's College in Vermont, graduating in 1985 with a degree in Accounting. She went on to dedicate 30 years of her professional life to Bradford Carpet, where she was respected for her commitment, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Known affectionately as "Debbie," she brought warmth and energy wherever she went. She was often described as the life of the party at family gatherings, with a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely loved. Debbie had a special fondness for elephants, admiring their strength, loyalty, and enduring memory. During the warmer months, she found joy in tending to her garden and relaxing in the sunshine of her backyard. A devoted Boston sports fan, Debbie rarely missed a game and enthusiastically cheered on the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and especially the Boston Red Sox. She also loved music and could often be found listening to Eagles, whose songs were a longtime favorite.

Family was at the center of Debbie's life. She never missed a sporting event for her children and was their most enthusiastic and steadfast supporter. She remained actively involved throughout their education-serving as a dedicated "room mom," organizing activities, and providing treats and supplies to help make classroom celebrations special for all students. She continued to support her children through their college years and beyond, offering constant encouragement and unconditional love.

Debbie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her presence brought light to those around her, and her memory will continue to do the same.

She leaves behind her beloved family-her husband, Bill; her daughter, Catie; and her son, Emmett, all of Lynn, Massachusetts; her sister, Christine, brother-in-law, Doug, and niece, Hannah, of Falmouth, Massachusetts; her sister, Sherry, and niece, Bella, also of Falmouth, Massachusetts; her sister-in-law, Maryanne, and her husband, Steve, of Byfield, Massachusetts; her sister-in-law, Jeanne, and her husband, Tom, of Reading, Massachusetts; her brother-in-law, Steven, and his wife, Julie, of Peabody, Massachusetts; and her brother-in-law, James, and his wife, Tara, of Manchester, Massachusetts-as well as many dear nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Please join the family for a Celebration of Life on April 10th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gannon Municipal Golf Course in Lynn, Massachusetts.
