Deborah Michelle Ranello, age 70, of Hawley died Friday, November 21, 2025 at home.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Vincent Ranello. Formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, she and her husband Paul had been Hawley residents for 11 years.

Born November 28, 1954, in Astoria, NY, Deborah was the daughter of the late Charles William and Therese S. (Wolansky) Bolecek. She earned her bachelor's degree in education from Niagara University, where she and Paul met on their first day of their sophomore year. She worked as an executive at Gimbel's Department Store in New York before leaving to focus on raising her family full-time.

In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by two sons: Jonathon Ranello and his wife Cristina of Denver, CO and Alexander Ranello and his wife Maegan of Hawley; four grandchildren: Brandon, Jorah, Harper and Mason; one sister: Sheri Pucciarelli of Port St. Lucie, FL; and two brothers: Richard and Robert Bolecek, both of Oakland, CA.

Calling hours will be Monday, November 24, from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 25, at 11:00 AM with Deacon Paul J. Cooper officiating.

Private cremation will be held at a later date at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
