Debbie Sanders, age 69, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on July 5, 1956, in Fort Smith to Mary Paralee (Barker) Park and Harold Shelton Park. Debbie was united in marriage to Billy W. Sanders on June 7, 1985, in Fort Smith.
Debbie was a cherished member of her community and spent her days engaging in activities that brought her joy. She loved attending garage sales, antique shopping, cooking, and writing poems. Her home was always filled with warmth and her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the highlight of her life, was evident to all who knew her.
A dedicated member of Spiro Pentecostal Church, Debbie found joy and fellowship within her church community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy, of the home; one daughter, Elisabeth Melancon and Victor of Fort Smith; three beloved grandchildren: Matthew Lund of Fort Smith, Kaeden Watson of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Jade Melancon; two sisters, Kay Willis and James of Van Buren, Arkansas and Henrietta Roam of Fort Smith; one brother, Bruce Park of Fort Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carolyn Park and Evalee Christian; and a brother, Hoyt Park.
A funeral service to honor Debbie's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. The viewing will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the chapel, in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Debbie will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family and friends, and her cherished memories that will live on in all of us.
