Deborah Sapp Obituary
Deborah Louise Benton Sapp, 73, of Bladenboro passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Deborah was born to the late Curtis Benton and Mabel Davis Benton on November 14, 1951 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Linda Sue Jordan Graham and several nieces and nephews.
Deborah leaves behind her beloved husband of 50 years, Leonard Sapp; son, Jonathan Harold Sapp and wife Charlotte; daughter, Audra Fortune and husband Richard; brothers: Tim Benton (Pam), Craig Benton; sister, Samantha Davis; grandchildren: William Benton (Chelsea), Avery Lynn Sapp, Amber Lowder (Jacob), Jessica Slayter (Spencer); great-grandchildren: Myla Benton, Jacoby Lowder, Cameron Lowder and Allie Slayter.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45pm on Wednesday, December 18th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service beginning at 2pm. The Reverend Darryl Dowless will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the PineCrest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105.
