Deborah Sargent Obituary
Deborah was born to the late Woodard and Addie Mae Smith on July 8, 1955, in Lexington South Carolina. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, James "Jim" Sargent.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Charity Tart and husband Scott of Erwin, NC; grandchildren, Brandon and Katelynn Tart; brothers, Ray Smith and Raymond Smith and many nieces and nephews.
Deborah lived a life marked by love and a quiet strength. She had a way of making people feel seen and loved. Her laughter, wisdom and steady presence will be deeply missed.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy lives on in the lives that she touched. We find comfort knowing that she is now at peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2026 at Pentecost Worship Center, 2744 State Rd 2016, Lillington, NC 27546.
Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
