GRIEVE, Deborah Kae - of Birch Run, age 72, suddenly made her journey to Heaven on Sunday, December 7th, 2025.
Debbie was born on September 8th, 1953 to Richard and Wanda (Cole) Grieve. Debbie attended Flint Central High School, graduating with the class of 1971. She worked at Hurley Medical Center for many years as a lab technician. After retiring she enjoyed music concerts, gardening, supporting Michigan sports, bowling & golf leagues, but above all spending time with her family. Debbie's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life to others through organ donation, she donated bone and tissue through the Gift of Life Michigan.
Left to treasure her memory are: Sons: Dustin (Rachel) Scharrer, Darin (Mandi) Scharrer; Father: Richard (Dorothy) Grieve; Sisters: Tabatha Grieve (James Hogan), Sherrie (Giuseppe) Grieve; Nephews: Brandon (Tiffany) Grieve, Julian Grieve; Niece: Christina Grieve; Great nephews: Jacob and Kaiden Grieve. Many other loving family members and cherished friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother: Wanda Grieve; sister: Pam Grieve.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 17th, 2026 from 11:00am-3:00pm at the Fenton Community Center; 150 S Leroy St, Fenton, MI 48430. The family wishes those attending the celebration of life to please dress casually.
To honor Debbie; In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Street Hearts Animal Rescue (Flint) or your local animal rescue. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Deborah, please visit our floral store.
