Deborah Stratton

Deborah Ann Stratton (nee Cahill), passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the age of 53.
Debbie was born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, where she attended St. Martin of Tours Grade School and Frankford High School, Class of '88. She was a proud cheerleader for her high school as well as Frankford Boys Club.
In 1992, Debbie graduated from Gordon Phillips Beauty School. In 1996, after a few years as a cosmetologist, she decided it was time for a change and went on to work at Faulkner Pontiac GMC. This new beginning was the first of many. It would be here that Debbie met the love of her life and future husband, Erik Stratton. They married in September 2006. Purchased their home in August 2008 and immediately acquired their beloved fur baby Thor. A short 14 months later they welcomed their daughter, Julianna, Debbie's greatest accomplishment.
Debbie would later end up working in payroll and her hard work led her to the position of tax manager for several companies.
There were numerous things in life Debbie enjoyed. Whether it was shopping, listening to music, watching Julie perform in dance, band or any of her various activities. She loved traveling to Disney, Jamaica, admiring the beauty of sunflowers, playing darts, watching her favorite TV shows and cheering on the Eagles. All of these things filled her heart with joy. She was a passionate animal lover and held a special place in her heart for sloths. Debbie had a huge heart and would put you ahead of her wants or needs. Her most favorite moments included baking, making crafts, going to craft shows with her daughter, and having a pumpkin spice iced coffee from Dunkin' in hand.
Debbie is the beloved wife of Erik Stratton and loving mother of Julianna. She is the cherished sister of Joseph (Shannon) and Susan Cahill (Jeff); dear aunt of Liam, Lila, Brody and Tyler Cahill, Anthony Lombardi, Jr., Macklin, Ellen and Linley Stratton; great aunt of Christian Cahill and daughter-in-law of Ronald and Sheron Stratton. She is also survived by her aunts, Sheila Cahill and Rose Slick, brother-in-law, Brian (Mari) Stratton and numerous cousins.
Debbie was predeceased by her loving mother, Julianna Cahill (nee Guld); uncle, Charles Cahill and her cherished rottweiler, Thor.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 10 am until 12 pm at the T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home, 11010 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Family eulogies and open sharing will begin at Noon. Interment will be private.
