Deborah Tasker Obituary
Deborah Tasker, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away at her home in Jeffersonville Indiana on December 7, 2023 after a long surgery recovery battle. She was born in Mt. Pleasant Missouri on May 3rd, 1967. She graduated from Mt. Vernon high school in Fortville in 1985, and married Ken Tasker of Lake Odessa Michigan in 1986. She served in the U. S. Army for 4 years (1985 - 1989) and moved to Shelbyville from Pendleton Indiana in 2022.
Deborah worked in retail most of her life. She enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, crafts, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her partner of 18 years Jeffery Cole in 2022 and her father in 2021. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Tasker and her partner Ashley Rizzuti of Jeffersonville Indiana, her mother Gerry Newkirk of Shelbyville IN, Step Mother Gwen Scrogham of Indianapolis IN. and four sisters; Tammy Noon (fiancé Rick Hudnall) of Shelbyville IN. Chrissy Wiehe (husband Joseph) of Columbus OH. Kim Ball (husband Greg) of Manalapan NJ. Kelli Cohan (husband John) of Indianapolis IN. 11 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
Graveside services with military honor guard at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis IN. That, along with a celebration of life will be announced at later date.
Deborah will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
