Deborah Tungseth of Turlock, California has passed away at the age of 67. She was born in Turlock to Donald and Frankie Berryhill. Being a military family, they moved around but eventually returned to Turlock where she completed her education. In 1980 she married and began a family. She raised two children, Brandan and Ashley. Sadly, her middle child, Derek, passed away at only a month old from heart issues. Debbie spent more than a decade as a Social Worker compassionately advocating for the vulnerable elderly.
Debbie enjoyed being out in nature, she loved camping and fishing. You could often find her out caring for or riding her beloved horse, Annabel Butterfly. Debbie spent a lot of time in the yard caring for her garden and flowers. She liked country music and going to rodeos. She loved Jesus and her family.
Deborah is survived by her son Brandan Sumner, daughter Ashley Shook (Tim), sister Becky Berryhill, brother Michael Pogwizd, and Aunt Shirley Runner. Deborah had 5 grandchildren who she adores more than anything. She is preceded in death by her infant son Derek, father Donald, brother Roy, and her mother Frankie.
Debbie wished to be buried next to her mother at Turlock Memorial Park where her son, father, and brother are also buried. She did not want a memorial service. Her children have chose to honor those wishes.
