Deborah Welt

Deborah Welt, born on July 17, 1955, in the beautiful hills of West Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Windsor, Virginia, at the age of 70 after a long illness. Her journey on this earth was marked by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to giving her best to the world.

Though unable to work due to her health in her final years, Deborah's true life's work was found in her passion for bringing light and love to those around her. She belonged to the human race with great pride, embracing the shared humanity that binds us all together. Her life was a testament to the power of spirit over circumstance, where every small act of kindness became a beacon of hope and warmth to everyone she encountered.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Deborah leaves behind a circle of devoted friends who cherished her deeply. These friends, touched by her compassion and gentle strength, formed a community bound by love-a testament to the impact one soul can have on many.

Deborah will be honored with a service held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby Street in Norfolk, where all who loved her may visit and reflect on a life well-lived.
