A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Deborah Ann Young, 71 who passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Church Point. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will officiate the memorial service. She had a passionate love for her dog, Sophie, and found joy in sharing stories of old times, displaying her talents in sewing, crocheting, and quilting, and making others laugh with her straightforward and fun-loving nature. Her vibrant spirit and caring demeanor touched the lives of many, especially her grandchildren and extended family. She found solace in her faith and was known for her visit to Medjugorje and her devotion to the church, and for saying the rosary. Deborah had a special way of lighting up a room with her jokes and bringing a sense of joy to those around her. A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 PM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 3:00 PM then lead into the service.
Deborah will be dearly missed by her son, Cleveland "Glynn" Michaud, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Eunice; grandchildren, Drake Pousson, Allie Pousson, Cleveland "Trae" G. Michaud III, Lahna Michaud, and Lucy Michaud; and all those who knew.
She is preceded in death by her father, Milton Venable; mother, Lucy Nell Dore Michaud and her husband, Frank Michaud Jr.; sister, Judy Hebert; and maternal grandparents, Oleaus Dore and the former Lucy Bourque.
