Debra "Debbie" Avina, 56, peacefully passed away at Ellis Hospital on May 16 as a hero and Champion of Life, after suffering cardiac arrest earlier in the week.
> Unbeknownst to her family and friends she was an organ donor, and through her selflessness she restored sight to 4 people and graciously donated both kidneys giving 2 people a new lease on life.
> Debbie is a 1986 graduate of Shaker High School where she excelled in socializing and having a great time! After graduation Debbie became a hair stylist. Debbie was bless with a beautiful baby boy, David, in 1989. She and David conquered all that came their way in life. They were and always will be two peas in a pod.
> Debbie held various jobs over the years until her health made it time for her to retire.
> Debbie is survived by the loves of her life, her son, David Bradshw, Sr (Maddison Whitman) and GMa to David, Jr, and Alison. Her siblings Darcy Hausler, Joe, and Jon. Aunt Carol and Uncle Bob Hendrick and countless cousins, friends, and acquaintances.
> Debbie is predeceased by her Dad, Patrick David, her Mom, Judith Mae, and Grandma Saladin.
> The world is a little less bright as we no longer have her amazing smile to brighten our days.All who know her will miss her beautiful and infectious smile.
