Debra Ann Berglund, born on February 13, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2024.
Deb dedicated much of her professional life to civil service, working at Hill Air Force Base and the Internal Revenue Service before retiring. In her free time, she found joy in crafting and creating suncatcher beads with her sister, Sue, which she lovingly shared with friends and family. She also had a passion for gardening, delighting in planting flowers and tending to her small garden. She enjoyed being lazy around the house with her little snuggle bug, Toby. Deb enjoyed family camping trips as long as she had the trailer and enjoyed sitting by the campfire as long as it was warm outside. Above all, Deb cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her daughter Sara.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Daniels Hanson; mother, Edith Faye Bankhead Hanson; and brother, Gary Hanson.
Deb is survived by her loving partner, Robert "Bo" Vine of Sunset; her daughter, Sara Berglund of California; her sister, Sue Taylor of Ogden; and her brother, Jack Hanson of Ogden. She is also remembered fondly by many other family members, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A viewing will be held in her honor on Friday, January 3rd, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m., at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, located at 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy, Utah.
Deb’s warmth and creativity touched the lives of those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
