Debra L. "Debby" Bourg
Age 67, of New Lenox, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday morning, September 26, 2023. She was born February 18, 1956 to the late Carolyn (Soland) and Leo McFadden.
Debby resided in the New Lenox area her entire life. She was a graduate with the class of 1974 from Lincoln-Way Central High School. She worked as an office manager throughout her career.
Surviving is her husband of 37 years, Bruce Bourg; brother, Mike (Mary Jo) McFadden; mother-in-law, Joan Bourg; brother-in-law, Karl (Karen) Bourg; nephew, Gary (Amber) McFadden; nieces, Katie (Vinnie) Hughes and Kristine Bourg; great nephew, Damien McFadden and great niece, Savannah McFadden. She will also be missed by several cousins and her canine companion, Kelli.
In addition to her parents, Debby is also preceded in death by her nephew, Brian McFadden and father-in-law, John Bourg.
Debby was a super fan of the Chicago Bears. Although she left us too soon, we will fondly remember her for enjoying life's simple pleasures; classic rock and roll, her dogs, including Maggie and Emma, enjoying the company of her friends and family, as well as relaxing in the serenity of her back yard.
Visitation for Debbie will be Friday, September 29, 2023 from 9am until services begin at 12 noon at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd) Joliet. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to the Will County Humane Society.
