Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home – Hiwassee ChapelDebra Denise Glessner Clarke went on to be with Jesus on Monday, October 20th, 2025. She was born on February 10th, 1956 to Grant Glessner and Virginia Glessner in Niagra Falls, New York.
She was a woman of great faith, and enjoyed attending Ministries of Grace when she was well enough. She loved the outdoors; and enjoyed fishing, camping, travel, shopping, playing with her dogs and going on cruises. As a home health CNA of 38 years, she touched the lives of many patients. She maintained tight-knit bonds with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her bonus son, Daniel Parker.
Debra is survived by her life partner of over 40 years, Robert Otis Parker; daughter, Dawn Clarke Bradley (Ken) son, Bryan Clarke; parents, Grant Glessner and Virginia Glessner; siblings, Robert Glessner(David, Peter, Meg Sofia and Patricia); Doreen Leavitt (Brad, Natalie and Mark), and Lori Geyer (Cade, Zach, Morgan and Brooke) ; grandchildren, Hallie Halderman, Erika Greene, Miranda, Natalie Clarke, and Christopher Clarke; Great-grandchildren, Ryder Weaver, Remington Weaver, Harper Halderman, and Emerson Halderman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Many other relatives, including the Parker family and friends also survive, including her two beloved Pomeranians, Pepper and Parker
A memorial service to honor Debra's remarkable life will be held on December 6th, 2025 at 4:00pm at 569 Gander Gap Road, Hiawassee Georgia 30546. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm.
