Debra Combs Obituary
Mrs. Combs retired from Bank of America after 42 years. She was a member at Edgewood Baptist Church for many years. In her spare time, she loved going on trips, especially to Myrtle Beach with her family, and visiting the Amish country in Pennsylvania. She also enjoyed taking trips to Hillsville, Virginia to the flea market with her best friends. Her biggest love was for all her beautiful fur babies.
Mrs. Combs is survived by her sister, Maybeth Ellis Atkins; aunts, Margaret Wright and Sudie Roa; and sister-in-law's, Carolyn (Donald) Carpenter, Peggy (Bobby) Fowler, and Shirley Sykes. She is also survived by several cousins and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 26th at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tommy Faust officiating.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection Society of Durham: 2117 E. Club Blvd., Durham, NC 27704.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences can be made at www.clementsfuneralservice.com.

Debbie was one of a kind. Living next door for over 43 years we shared lots of good memories. She loved our fur babies as much as we did. She feed them and checked in on them many times if we were away. She spoiled them specially Toby that thought he lived next door and spent lots of time under that beautiful fig tree that we shared. Hope you met Big Red at the rainbow bridge. We all loved him. I will always miss you sitting on that porch and waving to us as we walked outside. Love Bobby and Elaine Ray.
