Mrs. Debra “Debbie” Ann Greene, age 64 of Grover, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her residence.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Michael Greene of the home, three children, Jeremy Wiggins (Johanna) of Etowah, NC, Jason Crotts (Mary) of Lawndale, NC, and Josh Crotts (Myia) of Lawndale, NC, grandchildren, Zane Wiggins, Gabriel Wiggins, Zeke Crotts, Zane Crotts, Caleb Crotts, and Evan Crotts, a sister-in-law, Carol Hoyle (Sonny) of Lawndale, NC, three sisters, Terri McCurry of Boiling Springs, NC, Lisa Faile of Boiling Springs, NC, and Angela Greene of Shelby, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Paula Sides of Mooresboro, NC.
Born May 28, 1960, in Cleveland County, NC, Debbie was the daughter of Richard S. Greene and the late Martha Cochran Greene and was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Greene.
Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church where she served in the church nursery with joy. Debbie enjoyed going to the beach, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family and many, many, friends. Debbie was an LPN and loved caring for her patients. She also adored her fur babies, Charly and Skynyrd.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 20, 2024, at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Kathy Houser. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, 1642 Sulphur Springs Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.
