Debra Ann "Debbie" Donohue, age 56 of St. Charles, IL, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. Loving mother of Marinee (Robert) Jendrzejczyk, Nicole (Brandon) Groebli and Benjamin "Birch" Gearan; cherished daughter of Richard and Mary Ann Donohue; proud "Gigi" of Brandon, Collin, Robert, Rylan, William, Lincoln and Marilyn; dear sister of Richard and Bryan Donohue; fond aunt of Darcy and Bryan Donohue, Jr.
Debbie loved her cat, Cali. She enjoyed cooking, motorcycle rides in her younger years, and playing BINGO. Debbie was hard working, having driven a school bus and an asphalt truck for many years. She smiled through it all, the good and the bad. She would give you the shirt off of her back and cook you something, too. More than anything, however, Debbie loved being "Gigi" to her seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation for Debbie will be held at DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4-8 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 4 PM.
Per Debbie's wishes, please omit flowers. Debbie's family would be grateful if a donation to the GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/6497a9d7) be made in lieu of flowers.
