Debra Elaine Gottschall, age 66, Young America, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 11, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on February 4, 1958, in Kokomo, to the late Jack Bookmiller and Beulah (Osborn) Dutchess. Debra married the love of her life, Robert Dale Gottschall on October 31, 2008. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2023.
Debra graduated from Lewis Cass High School and worked as a Pharmacy Tech at CVS for many years.
Survivors include daughter, Tamara “Tammy” (James) Foust of Walton, IN; son, Terry (Amanda Ward) Alexander of Kokomo, IN; sister, Patti (Wayne) Harris of Young America, IN; brother, Andy Bookmiller of Galveston, IN; sister-in-law, Debra Bookmiller of Logansport, IN; step-daughter, Samantha Bear of Elwood, IN; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dan Bookmiller; and step-father, Creg Dutchess.
Per Debra’s wishes there will be no services.
