Debra S. Henning, age 68, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Debra was born in Berlin, WI on July 1, 1955, daughter of Donald and Shirley (Dorsey) Bender. She graduated from Rosendale High School. Debra married Thomas Henning on May 18th, 1974. She worked as a caregiver at Willowbrook Apartments for many years.
Debra enjoyed playing cribbage with family, Yahtzee, crafting, causing trouble with her witty sass, and reading a good book. She was happy when she was spending time with good people and had a cold Coors Light in her hand.
Debra is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Henning; daughter, Deanna Timm; mother-in-law, Marylin Henning; four brothers, Gary (Lucy) Bender, Mark (Mary) Bender, Todd (Joan) Bender, and Wade (Starla) Bender; in-laws, Jim (Nancy) Henning, David (Nancy) Henning, Patty (Mike) Lambert, Linda (Jim) Carstensen, and Debbie (Dennis) Luedtke; grandchildren, Amanda Coehoorn, Shawn (April) Timm Jr., Samm (Jason) Nielson, and Timmothy Henning; great-grandson, Easton Nielson; along with several aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Shirley Bender; father-in-law, Gordon Howard Henning, Sr.; son, Timothy Henning; brother-in-law, Gordon Howard Henning Jr.; along with her grandparents, Harley Fredrick (Eva) Dorsey Sr. and Cecil Meadough (Vera) Bender; and several aunts; uncles; and nephews.
Visitation for Debra will be held on Friday, July, 5, 2024, from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A memorial service for Debra will be held on Friday, July, 5, 2024, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Dr. Heather Brewer officiating. A memorial is being established in her name.
