Diane Lucille Keeler, age 75, of Green Lake, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her home.
Diane was born in Ripon, WI on April 6, 1950, daughter of Albert and Roanne (McConnell) Klaver. She graduated from Green Lake High School in 1968. Diane worked as a waitress and cook at numerous local restaurants throughout the years, a familiar face at Walker’s Bar & Grill in Green Lake for over 40 years. Diane had a passion for gardening, and was a proud “Master Gardener.” She had a special eye for design and decorating, meticulously tending to her home and yard. This attention to detail extended to every aspect of her life. She was organized and thorough, and knowledgeable about so many things that she became the neighborhood “google” for many of her friends. Diane’s door was always open, with a hug and smile, or a kind word, always seeming to know the right thing to say. She loved reading, a good cup of coffee, cooking, and recently took up baking, filling goody bags full of cookies for family and friends, including the landscaping and snow crews. She loved animals, sharing her home at times with kitties and ferrets, and keeping treats at the ready for visits from adoring neighborhood dogs, especially her “Big Man Oreo.”
Diane is survived by her son, Owen (Karin) Keeler; daughter-in-law, Tammi Keeler; grandchildren, Anita, Shawn, Alexis, London, and Sofiya Keeler, and Ashlee Featherston; one great-grandchild, Elijah Featherston; sisters, Nell (Ray) Hudzinski, Cindy (Benny) Benson, Linda (Ken Frank) Klaver; sister-in-law, Tracey Klaver; a close cousin, Nancy Puff; and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Roanne Klaver; a son, Jason Keeler; a sister, Mary Klaver; and a brother, Ted Klaver.
