Jeffrey “Jeff” C. Cole, age 53, of Oshkosh, WI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Oshkosh.
Jeff was born in Shaumburg, IL on February 6, 1972, son of Jacqueline (Neutz) Walker and the late Paul Edward Cole. Jeff spent his early childhood living in Florida. At the age of eight, Jeff and his family moved to the Ripon area. He attended Green Lake High School. In his early adult years, he made the city of Oshkosh his home. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and water-sports. He was also a carpenter and liked to fix and repair anything and everything. His greatest joy in life was the time spent with family, especially his nieces and nephews. Jeff was a prankster and a jokester, always bringing laughter to those around him. Jeff had a big heart and a good heart, he was passionate about helping people and putting others before himself.
Jeff is survived by his mother and step-father, Jacqueline and Douglas D. Walker; his children, Michael Buckholt, Vadalia Lynn, Emily Wanic, James Wanic, and Ender Cole; brothers, Richard Cole, Kieth Jensen, and Kevin Jensen; sisters, Jeanne Cole, Carol Cole, and Kimberly (Brook) Cumber; many nieces, nephews; other family; and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Cole.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. There will be no services at this time.
A memorial fund has been established in Jeff’s name.
