Darrin C. Schultz, age 60, of Skunk Hollow, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Darrin was born in Ripon, WI, on October 30, 1964. He was the son of Donn Schultz and Marilyn (Hahn) Perr. He attended Green Lake High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Darrin was a carpenter as Schultz Custom Carpentry for many years. He enjoyed cars early on in his life and later found a passion for Harley’s. In his mid-years, he enjoyed drag racing motorcycles and continued on to build and repair them in his leisure. He also enjoyed cooking, reading anything thought provoking or educational to challenge his mind, and his golden retrievers. Darrin found joy in being outside in nature, listening to frogs on the pond, and his favorite music, especially southern rock/blues.
Darrin is survived by his son, Dakin (Kaitlin Montalvo and son, Jackson) Schultz; mother and step-father, Marilyn and Ron Perr; sister, Rhonda Perr; brother, John (Jenifer) Perr; step-brother, Brian (Chris) Badtke; nieces and nephews, Mitchael Perr, Cayden Perr, Amelia Steffes, and Alisabeth Perr; other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his beloved golden retriever, Deeks. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Donn and Pat Schultz; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Grace Hahn; paternal grandparents, Lester and Alvina Schultz; his 21 year old cat, Tinkerbell; and his golden retrievers, Gina, and Boomer, and Magnum Buckshot The Duck Slayer.
Visitation for Darrin will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, in Ripon, with Rev. Karin Derenne officiating. You may view a livestream of the service at 6:00 pm by visiting this link LIVESTREAM. A memorial is being established in his name.
