Michele Ann Schultz, age 65 of Battle Creek, passed away on August 28, 2025, at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on March 26, 1960, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Crabtree) Halder. Michele was a lifelong area resident. She graduated in 1978 from Harper Creek High School then went on to attend Olivet College. She was previously employed by Cut Rate, St. Phillip Catholic School, Harper Creek Schools, and J&L Cement Contractors. Michele had a passion for photography and owned and operated Axiom Photography. She was a sports enthusiast and was heavily involved with Harper Creek Schools and their athletic department. Michele’s true love was for her family, she enjoyed spending time with her children, husband, and grandchildren making many wonderful memories with all of them. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; Annie and Andrew Crabtree, brother, Randy Halder and father-in-law, Arthur Schultz. On June 7, 1980, Michele was united in marriage to Kirk Schultz, he survives. Also surviving are her sons; Trevor (Elyse) Schultz of Chicago, IL., Trenton (Megan) Schultz of Allen Park, MI., Turner (Megan) Schultz of Climax, MI., brother, Andy (Trish) Halder of Battle Creek, mother-in-law, Norma Jean Schultz of Ceresco, MI., grandchildren, Emmett, Clark, Harper, Kellen, Owen, Theo, and Toren Schultz. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions in Michele’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Special thanks and gratitude are extended to Megan Schultz for everything she did for the family during this difficult time.
