Debra Jones Iacovelli

Debra "Debbie" Ann (Jones) Iacovelli, age 67, of Rockwall Texas, passed away June 8th, 2023. She is at rest after a long fight with cancer.   A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 10:00 AM, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 909 N Elm St, Kemp, TX 75143.    Debbie was born in Dallas, Texas on February 7, 1956. She was the youngest of two daughters to Louis Jones and Winnie (Cook) Jones. Debbie grew up in Dallas, and remained living in the DFW area her entire life, close to the friends and family she loved. She enjoyed reading romance novels, glamping at the lake, wrestling with the one arm bandits (slot machines), and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Debbie was mom to four children, widowed wife to a loving husband, grandmother to many, and friend to all. She dedicated her life to providing for and helping others, often sacrificing for herself. She loved the Lord, and had a servant's heart. She will be missed greatly.    Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Winnie Jones, her sister, Vicki Carver, her husband, Anthony Iacovelli, and daughters, Carla Morgan and Shanna Girard.    Debbie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Carder, son, William Girard, grandchildren, Hailey Guthrie, Lanny Kilgore, Briana Morrow, Destany Tutson, Desmond Tutson, Julia Morgan, Tanner Nail, Timothy Cherry, Livie Nail, KC Flud, Macey Carder, nephew, Walker Carver and numerous great grandchildren.
