Obituary of Debra Kay McDonald
Debra Kay McDonald, 68, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away in her home on September second of complications arising from Covid-19. Debra was born November 9, 1952 in Greenville Michigan to Reginald Loucks and Patricia Vanatti.
Debra is survived by her children Michael Allen McDonald (Marina Saraswati) and Brad McDonald Jacobs (Rhonda Zar). Her most favorite people in the world, her granddaughters Bradee Kay Jacobs, Zanna Skye Ayudhya McDonald and Valfreyia Ayundha Mcdonald. Her mother Patricia Vanatti, her siblings Thomas Loucks (Stacie), Cheryl Edeus, Terri Loucks-Speece (Richard), Karen Asakevich (Pete), Dawn Loucks, John Loucks, half sister Wendy Bentley and stepbrothers David, Doug and Duane Vanatti. She follows in death her brother Dale Loucks, her father Reginald Loucks and her stepdad James Vanatti.
Debra was an operator at West Pharmaceutical Services. She was proud of her job making caps for vaccines and other medication. She devoted 20 years of her life to a job where she made many good friends who became a sort of surrogate family. Debra was loved dearly and cared for by all her friends and family. She will be missed and will live on forever in our hearts.
She loved the beach, tropical weather, flamingos, and most of all Christmas so in keeping with the spirit of who Debra was, a memorial service will be held in the pavilion at Gulf Port Veterans Memorial Park on Friday September 17 at 11 am. Following the ceremony we will congregate at Salty's directly across the street from the park.
