Mrs. Debra L Kuen of Port Jervis, NY, died Friday, April 26, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 66. She was born January 15, 1958 in Newton, NJ the daughter of the late Gene Ellis and the late Blanche Travis. Debra was married to her husband, Stephen C. Kuen on December 23, 1999 in the Town of Deer park, NY until his passing in October of 2023. She earned her Associates Degree and worked as a tax preparer for many years. Debra was a proud member of her neighborhood watch and loved the many birds she had as pets throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Her son, John Ellis and his wife Emily; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Wyatt and Ella-Mae; her sister, Cindy Dodd and her husband Lou, her niece whom she was especially close with, Tabitha Ellis; sister-in-law, Debbie Ellis; and also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Gene and Bobby Ellis.
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family. Cremation was held at the MacLennan Hall Crematorium in Milford, PA. Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E.
