Debra Yvonne Lackey, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, was born on July 25, 1963, in Porterdale, Georgia. She left this world on December 26, 2025, in Conyers, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Debra's life was one filled with compassion and kindness. She had a remarkable ability to uplift those around her, offering support and joy in times of need. Her gentle spirit and unwavering positivity left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.
In honor of Debra's life, a Visitation will be held on January 2, 2026, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, Georgia. Friends and family are encouraged to come together to celebrate Debra's life, share stories, and find comfort in one another.
Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on January 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. This gathering will provide an opportunity to honor the beautiful moments shared with Debra and reflect on the profound impact she had on everyone she met.
Debra's warmth, laughter, and kindness will live on in the cherished memories of her loved ones. As we remember her, let us hold her spirit close and carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in our own lives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
