Debra “Debbie” S. Lunz, age 63, of Celina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Celina Manor.
She was born on January 17, 1962, in Celina, to Pete and Laura (Alt) Buck. On April 1, 1995, she married Sam Lunz, who survives at their home in Celina.
Debbie is also survived by her mother, Laura (Alt) Buck of Celina; two sisters, Becky (Phil) Bailey of Michigan and Barbara (Rodney Miller) Buck of Celina; two daughters, Nicole Lunz and Bobbie Jo (Cody) Allenbaugh, both of Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her son, Mathew Lunz.
A 1980 graduate of Celina High School, Debbie was a devoted homemaker who cherished time spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, had a lifelong love for tigers, and was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears. Most of all, she adored her beloved dog, Shiloh.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Tim Benjamin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM–12:00 Noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
