Debra A. Mustin, age 66 of Emmett and Visalia, California, passed away on April 6, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1958 in San Francisco, California to the late Ysidro and Johanna (Tweedie) Simental.
Debby grew up as a military child, constantly moving due to her father's service. She was never intimidated by change. She approached life with full commitment, never doing anything halfway. Her love for her family was boundless, and she would do anything for them. With a natural green thumb, she could revive any plant and make it thrive. However, what truly made Debby extraordinary was what she did for others. Her ability to love without conditions was the greatest gift she offered to everyone who knew her. She had a heart for the forgotten, showing kindness to those who were often neglected. She dedicated countless hours to ensuring others received care with dignity, respect, and love. Through her actions, she touched numerous lives and led many to Jesus. A woman of strong faith, her beliefs guided her throughout her life. One of her final words was, "I am not giving up; I am surrendering."
Survived by her husband, Dan Mustin, three children Johanna (Ryan) Farmer, Christina Azevedo, and Luciano (Amanda) Azevedo, eleven grandchildren; Robert, Hannah, Elijah, Mykaila, Jacob, Taylor, Madison, Lauerllie, Vic, Luciano Jr and Luke and two great grandchildren; Hudson and Harlynn. She is also survived by two sisters: Sandra (Greg) Santos and Cindy (Claudia Cerda) Simental and a brother, Jim Simental.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Simental
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
